Georgia Pediatric Program for Children (GAPP)
In-Home Nursing Services for Medically Fragile Children Under the Age of 21
The Georgia Pediatric Program (GAPP) offers the opportunity of at-home nursing care and personal care to medically fragile children. Health Force of Georgia is a state-of-Georgia provider of professional, skilled nursing care to children in the comfort and safety of home.
GAPP In-Home Nursing Services
Skilled nursing and personal care services provided under GAPP include:

Assistance with daily living activities

Bathing
-
Meals
-
Housekeeping
-

Monitoring vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration & temperature

Assistance with ambulation & transfers
-
IV therapies
-
Wound care
-
Tube feedings
-
Gastrointestinal disorders
Is Your Child Eligible for Care Under GAPP?
GAPP is a Medicaid program for medically-qualified children under the age of 21. Children of families eligible for Medicaid can apply for GAPP at any time and must meet the same level of care necessary for admission to a hospital or skilled nursing facility. GAPP is managed by the Georgia Department of Community Health (DCH).

At Peachtree Family Services, we help eligible families apply for GAPP and offer the unique opportunity for parents or legal guardians to become paid caregivers for their own children.
What You Can Expect:
As a paid caregiver through GAPP, you will:

🏠 Provide daily personal care/assistance to your child at home

⏰ Work flexible hours that fit your schedule and your child’s needs

📱 Log your hours using our digital system (EVV)

💵 Get paid weekly through our agency based on the hours approved

📋 Receive ongoing support, training, and compliance guidance from our team
Requirements:

You must be the primary caregiver
-
Your child must be Medicaid-eligible and under 21
-
You must complete onboarding and orientation
-
You must log care hours daily and stay compliant with program rules
